This guy buys 4 pairs of our 8'' boxes then tries to install Pyle PDICBT286 8' IN CIELING speakers, which are 8 inch speakers IN A PLASTIC HOUSING that's meant to go in ceilings. These speakers are 11.2' in diameter !!! And they require a hole that's 9.4'
You can copy and paste that model number to Amazon to see them. You'll get a laugh at what he thought would fit in this enclosure!
We tried to explain this to him and even pointed out to him that we give the overall dimensions AND most importantly the cut out dimensions. He said he doesn't care about the specs, he just wants us to give him a prepaid return label and he wants a 100% refund.
We said no, it's not an error on our part. We delivered, exactly what we advertised. He just failed to check the dimensions and check compatibility. We would still take them back but he would be responsible for the shipping.
Why should I have to eat $120 in shipping for his mistake?
He then tells us that, our return policy doesn't mean anything and he will get a full refund from his credit card because he spends a lot of money with them. We have correspondence going back and forth about the product not fitting which means he has admitted to received them, yet he mentions that he didn't even sign for the package. So are you going to tell you credit card company that you didn't receive them? He just put in writing that he intends to commit credit card fraud!
This guy is clearly a case of a customer that failed to check product specs and wants to accept ZERO personal accountability for his actions and wants my business to pay for it. He messed up and didn't read, it happens. If he wanted to return, he could have but it's at his expense.
