FOX BOX
Regular price $415.00
It’s pretty ridiculous that the speaker pods aren’t already mounted to the box and are also shipped separately for the price you pay for this box. People pay for products not only for convenience but also to save time. This should be a given. Instead, I have to sit in my scorching hot garage in Arizona in the middle of summer and instal the speaker pods and also take measurements that have to lineup perfectly, or the box I paid to fit under my seat, won’t fit.
Hi Jordan, sorry that you had such a frustrating time. You hit on several different points so I'll address them individually.
First, the pods not being on the sub box.
Both Fedex and UPS have maximum package sizes. The assembled size would exceed that limit which would mean we have to ship it on a pallet via freight truck. That would add about $300 to the price. You are already complaing about the price so I doubt you want to pay $300 more for something as simple as installing the pods.
Next you are complaining about your work environment. Thats not something that I can control. Even if the pods were installed, you would be looking at about 1-2 hours to install the seat lift, wire and install subs so you are going be in whatever your work environment is for some time.
You are also complaining about it not fitting. If you follow the instructions it WILL fit. There are over a hundred 5 star reviews from people that have had no issues at all.
I tell people all the time that DIY is not for everyone. Sometimes its best to spend a little extra and get a qualified stereo shop to do your install.
There is a troubleshooting guide included with the instructions. Please read that as it covers most common issues. Then if that doesn't cover it, you can call the number on the instruction sheet during business hours 'this review is the first we have heard from you'
I went back and forth whether I wanted to get one. Definitely worth it. Assembly and install took a few hours. They sound great and gives the back seat back.
Hands down best box for these trucks. I’ve been in and out of the sub game for 18 years. Finally got some for my ram and the other box I tried first just didn’t sound as good as I wanted. Bought this box and it’s amazing with the difference all around especially with the lows. Install went great instructions were perfect and fit and finish of the whole setup is awesome. For my setup I have a Taramp big boss 3, 2 ct sounds ozone 10s. I have 10s because my first box the subs barely fit. The new box had plenty of room and airspace. If something happens to these subs I’ll be going up to 12s. But I’m hitting 30 hz with 10s easy. If you looking for the best box for a ram this is it by far.
Great
Hits like a mf. Well worth it.
Very happy with 2 JL Audio 10w0’s powered with an RD500/1. Well made box that gets super loud. If you’re thinking about it, pull the trigger! Thanks Fox
Previous setup was a pre loaded Skar audio box with dual shallow 12's. On a 1000.1 amp. I think that box is tuned to around 38 or 40hz.
And that setup just wasnt capable of hitting lows at all, super punch, not what i wanted.
After some research i stumbled upon this box, seemed to be the lowest tuned pre built box on the market for the F150.
Really wated to get the Sundowns for the best sub they recommend but couldnt get a sundown anywhere. So the research continued.
I ended up purchasing dual CT Sounds Strato 10" D4 subs. 1,250w RMS each. And got a Taramps 3000.1 on some 0 gauge audio CCA power wires.
The box needed a little bit of widening for the 2 holes the sub go into, the cage of the sub hit, but after making some slots the sub slides right in and just barely has clearance around the magnet.
Compared to the old setup, this one is deep and powerful, but not in a violent punchy way, its more refined, controlled and you feel it. I was kinda expecting it to be more violent with the increase in wattage, but i think that wattage is what im feeling, instead of it being violently punchy.
I have a 2021 F150, didn't do the big 3, stock alternator, i got a nice volt meter and while blasting it as much as i can without clipping the voltage stays at 14v+ at all times, I do have a H8 AMG battery.
Overall, great box, like the rhino coating because it stays cleaner than carpet, but it does move around a bit on my rubber mats, need to figure out a way to get it to stay in place. Would recommend if you lookin for deeper sound!
Never going back to shallow subs.
Installed this in my 2016 F-350 Crew Cab. Beautiful fit, sounds great.

This thing slams!!!! My wife bought this for me for an early Fathers Day gift. I wasn't planning on this so I just put in the cheap Skar SDR's that I already had for now. This thing makes even the cheapest subs sound great!! This is my 3rd Foxbox and I will always buy from them for my enclosures.
